About SCORE Youngstown

The Youngstown chapter of SCORE was founded in 1965 as Chapter 0112. SCORE is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Small Business Administration (SBA).  Our business consultants are experienced company owners, executives, and educators who volunteer their experience and knowledge to help small business owners and entrepreneurs achieve success.

Client service is the priority of Youngstown SCORE. Whether Face-to-face, in workshops and seminars, or online, the mentors of Youngstown SCORE are able and willing to aid in the success of small businesses. We provide you with in-depth, industry-specific business assistance to help evaluate a business idea. We will also provide sample business plans and business a start-up checklist to help ensure you consider all your options. Furthermore, our consultants will continue to work with you to stimulate growth, provide marketing options, and ultimately celebrate your long-term stability.

Our approach to counseling the clients is unique. We use a team approach in assisting our clients. Each day of the week a different team of experts with diverse backgrounds, experience, and expertise counsel the clients. The client can thus benefit from the experience of a diverse group of experts. And our counseling services and templates are absolutely free!

We encourage small business owners to establish long-term relationships with our teams. Over the years we have found that clients who make a habit of "checking in" with their mentors have a higher probability of success.
