Ms. O’Gorman is one of the founders of Liberty Tax Service, serving as Vice President of Marketing since the company began in 1997. In 2007, she was named Liberty’s Chief Marketing Officer. She is responsible for developing brand awareness in every major market in the United States and Canada.
As a brand new tax service, O’Gorman’s dream was that Liberty Tax Service embrace its very visible icon, and take an aggressive approach to marketing. By hiring lively characters to wear costumes and portray Miss Liberty and Uncle Sam, Liberty’s icons came alive on the streets near the offices.
Prior to beginning Liberty Tax Service, O’Gorman served as Director of Communications for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. She has 25 years of experience in advertising, marketing and public relations and holds a BA degree in English and Communications from Denison University.
