Williamsburg SCORE
Williamsburg SCORE was established in 1985 and is one of over 300 SCORE Chapters nationwide. The Williamsburg Chapter is located in The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce Building at 421 North Boundary
Williamsburg SCORE is one of 10 chapters in the Virginia District providing these valuable services; there are currently over 20 active volunteers in the Chapter. We typically provide over 1000 client services annually for workshop attendees and clients seeking individual mentoring. We serve clients from the local small business community as well as those who were anticipating starting a small business.
The Chapter's activities are funded through the national SCORE Association, fees collected from workshop attendees, and contributions from donors. Critical non-cash support is provided by the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance, which allows the Chapter to make use of office space, conference rooms, training facilities, and a receptionist, as well as telephone and computer network services.
Newport News Branch Location
MMewet MMm,m nnnnnmmmnnnvvvvvnnnnnnbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb The Williamsburg Chapter of SCORE has opened a Branch office in Newport News City Center to better serve our clients on the Lower Peninsula. The SCORE Branch is hosted by the Newport News Department of Development in the City Center. Mentoring sessions are by appointment only. When you request a mentor, you may also request meetings at the Newport News Branch.

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and has been mentoring small business owners for more than forty years.
SCORE is a valuable network of 11,000+ volunteers who offer small business entrepreneurs confidential business counseling services at no charge. SCORE volunteers have the knowledge and experience to help any small business owner get the help they need. Our dedicated volunteers represent over 3,000 years of experience across 62 industries.
SCORE also provides local workshops and events throughout the country to connect small business owners with the people and information they need to start, grow, and maintain their businesses, as well as online workshops available 24/7. SCORE provides resources, templates, and tools to assist entrepreneurs in developing tools and plans they need to navigate their way to small business success.
