SCORE Willamette Chapter #416

As the Southwestern Oregon chapter of the national SCORE organization, the Willamette Chapter uses the business knowledge and experience of its approximately 39 members to assist the owners and managers of small businesses. Its members offer free, confidential business counseling to help businesses solve problems, prosper and grow. Willamette SCORE's principal office is in the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce at 1401 Willamette Street, Eugene OR, 97401.

The U.S. Small Business Administration provides financial, technical and management assistance to help Americans start, run, and grow their businesses. SCORE is a resource partner with the SBA. The SBA administers a Congressional grant, which provides SCORE with funding. SCORE volunteers work with the SBA to provide small business mentoring and training to entrepreneurs through SBA offices.

Founded in 1964, SCORE is headquartered in Herndon, VA and has 364 chapters throughout the United States and its territories, with over 12,000 volunteers nationwide. Since 1964 SCORE has helped 10,000,000 people or 1 person every 3 minutes everyday for 50 years.

SCORE also provides local workshops and events throughout the country to connect small business owners with the people and information they need to start, grow, and maintain their businesses, as well as online workshops available 24/7. SCORE and the Willamette Chapter provide resources, templates and tools to assist entrepreneurs as they navigate their way to small business success.

The Willamette Chapter provides business education opportunities through its quarterly full day Business Success Seminar, through its monthly talks co-sponsored with the Small Business Development Center of Lane Community College and the Eugene Public Library, and through other events throughout the service area.
