My corporate career as head of Sales and Marketing and in general management for a number of companies, which included three overseas assignments in the Middle East and Asia focused on markets as diverse as electric power distribution and medical devices. Today I own and manage a franchise in Lynchburg, VA that has been in business for more than 20 years. Owning and managing a small business can be more challenging than my corporate roles but is also more satisfying. I look forward to helping SCORE clients by applying "big picture" strategic skills gained in the corporate world as well as the "real world" skills, like cash flow management and setting objects, that are important to any entrepreneurs future success.
