Learn how to use the free online TinkerCAD application to build a functional prototype of a product that can be 3D printed. Bring your laptop or Chromebook and learn the basics of Computer-Aided Design, and then work on your designs during the open lab after the class. Instruction for this class will be on hour with an additional 30 minute lab session.

Presenter: Mike Kaltschnee, co-founder and director, Danbury Hackerspace

Mike Kaltschnee is the co-founder and director of the Danbury Hackerspace, a tech and manufacturing incubator that is opening a second 20,000 sq. ft. makerspace in early 2025. Mike is a serial entrepreneur with three successful exits, and he now mentors and advises more than 40 inventors and entrepreneurs per year. Mike also teaches computer aided design, 3D printing, and laser cutting.
