I can help evaluate opportunities, and share lessons learned from my experiences running a small business with offices in 4 states, each a separate profit center focused in a separate market segment. I can also assist planning a business acquisition and structuring and grooming a part of or the entire company for an acquisition.
As the owner/manager of a small business, at one time or another, I assumed responsibility of practically all tasks required in a 20 to 60 employee organization, including interviewing and hiring, firing, business planning, evaluating & selecting accounting software, developing the outline for financial reports, project status reports, sales reports, etc., etc.
I was involved in sales and marketing, making client presentations, soliciting and reviewing solicitations and RFP's, writing proposals, managing proposal preparations for larger projects, developing and reviewing pricing considerations, and anything associated with getting projects in house.
I managed multiple concurrent projects including assignments of responsibilities, client management, conflict resolution and similar functions.
