Differences between a non-profit and for-profit corporation can be confusing. In this free webinar, you’ll learn the practicalities of starting and managing a nonprofit organization. SCORE expert business mentor Ray Lee, who has worked with startup and large nonprofit organizations, will cover:

  • Alternative nonprofit structures
  • Key steps to getting started: determining organizational structure, establishing a Board, and developing bylaws
  • Necessary filings with state and federal government
  • Ongoing governance and operations

Ray Lee

Ray Lee is considered a founding board member with experience pre-startup and post-startup for a $20 million nonprofit museum.  He has served on the executive committee, been governance committee chair, finance committee chair, treasurer and co-chair of the executive director search committee.  He has served on other nonprofit boards, advisory boards and committees. He has an accounting and corporate finance background.
