I am a business management professional with nearly 40 years of experience in both private and public business sectors, working in large corporate and small business enterprises. Most of my management career has been at the management and executive level, primarily as a CFO. My technical expertise as a business professional is in Finance and Accounting. I graduated from Idaho State University in 1978 with a BBA degree in Accounting; was certified and licensed to practice as a CPA in August of 1979, and retired as a CPA after 41 years in 2020. Although my primary expertise and experience is in the financial realm, I have had consistent success in a variety of experiences from public accounting as an auditor, general management, financial executive management, project management, software system implementations, direct sales and marketing, and business consulting. My industry experience includes manufacturing and production, construction and general contracting, software systems (primarily accounting), public sector higher education, financial investment and business consulting. I am always up for a challenge and eager to assist our clients in resolving their business challenges. I have incorporated a continuous improvement and education philosophy throughout my career and enjoy participating in collaborative efforts to further the mission of SCORE with our clients.
