About the event

This presentation will start with attendees being encouraged to look inward at and re-frame their beliefs as it relates to their ability to have tough conversations. Next, tips will be shared about how to be more aware of our better body language and communication when we go into a tough conversation. Attendees will learn our Expedition HR 5-step formula to handling tough conversations as well as a 3-prong approach to those steps (which is where the “magic happens!”). The presentation will close with preparing attendees for the “What Ifs” for when a tough conversation doesn’t go as planned.

After this training, attendees will:

  • Confidently be able to script a tough conversation using the 5-step formula
  • Apply the 3-prong approach to any tough conversation to amplify the impact
  • Be able to prepare for “What Ifs” in any tough conversation
  • Be ready to go out and have the tough conversation that is weighing on them!
