SCORE is a free advisory service offered to small business. If you have a new business idea, have just started your new venture, or have an established business, we can help. SCORE is a team of seasoned business professionals who have decided to “give back” to the community by offering their experience, expertise and skills free to people who need help.

We have counseled hundreds of local entrepreneurs, small business owners and managers, and people who would like to be their own boss.

Todd and Rose,
There are times in my life when I marvel at how I am being carried.
Saturday, I launch the business services of my business and help people begin to connect what they can do as businesses to support our youth.
The launch event is a Crime Prevention Summit that Community Allies has turned into a cross-cultural problem-solving session between community members, businesses, and youth. City and county leaders will be in attendance as will other politicians and business leaders.
So having you on my team this week was a total gift.
I have been a ball of nerves with all that is unfolding, rather quickly, and to be on this journey with you on my team means the world to me.
I will keep you posted on how the Summit turns out.
Thank you for walking with me over these years of so much transition and so many new beginnings - through all of the various aspects and complexities of creating a coherent business that does the work I want it to do in the world.

It was a good experience. My mentors listened to me, affirmed me, challenged me, and encouraged me to focus on what I can do now and to rest assured that the ideas I am putting on the backburner right now still have potential. I know that I am more prepared than I was when first accepted into NYS SEAP.

Rose is fabulous!!!! Her passion to help me with what I needed  (helping me name my business; networking suggestions; helping with my fear of presentations and more) was from the minute I sat down. She didn’t just tell me about something (such as Toastmasters) she explained the whys.. other people have shared information but she makes paints a picture that actually sticks with me. We’ve tried consultants, marketing experts, hiring sales reps and even a cold call company; nothing has  really hit the mark for us. A friend suggested I reach out to SCORE about business advice. After contact they assessed our needs and put together a customized team (including a VP in our field) who understood our challenges. We’ve been working with this team for about a year and a half. In the meetings we decide together what to work on and what to do before our next meeting.  Our work has included sales presentations, marketing outreach, and explorations into what’s happening with our company and bouncing it off the team.
