Broad marketing experience. Founded/ran a successful small business. Harvard MBA. After serving in the Peace Corps and getting an MBA, I worked in consumer marketing at Pillsbury and Land o Lakes. But I always wanted to have my own business. My first company failed (but I learned a lot from that experience). Then I started a business selling exercise videos. It began with one employee and a simple printed catalog. Over time, the company grew to 25 employees and evolved into an internet ecommerce operation. As the owner and CEO, I dealt with everything -- from marketing and operations, to strategy and personnel. After a successful 27-year run, I sold the company.
