Throughout my career, I have held leadership positions in entrepreneurial companies within the health care industry. Although I have worked in large, medium and small companies, my roots are in small business and I have found the alignment of innovation with market needs to be the source of my personal and professional rewards. My career path has yielded a portfolio of experiences due to my direct involvement in a wide variety of business situations including private and public equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, sales and marketing leadership, rapid growth environments, board of directors membership, international exports and distribution, and managing the cash-flow needs of resource-scarce, high-growth businesses. Consequently, I have a rich understanding of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, the chaos involved in small business, business planing, financing and fund raising, business fundamentals and product commercialization, and an ability to translate complex concepts into value propositions. I am a collaborative, hands-on leader undeterred by ambiguity, obstacles or challenges and an innovator adept at positioning organizations to capitalize on new market opportunities.
