My wife and I began a local independent bicycle shop from scratch six years ago. in 2018 (?) we won a America's Best Small Business Award from SCORE and attended a training in Dallas, TX. Prior to beginning the bike shop I was a Sr Pastor at a large local church and worked in the church for the previous 20+ years in various positions and sometimes all at once, which is much like starting a small business from scratch.
