About Us

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed nationwide. Founded in 1964, SCORE is headquartered in Herndon, VA, and has 364 chapters throughout the United States and its territories, with over 13,000 volunteers nationwide.

SCORE provides a valuable national network of volunteers who offer small business entrepreneurs confidential business counseling services at no charge. SCORE volunteers have the knowledge and experience to help any small business owner get the help they need. Our dedicated volunteers represent decades of experience across 62 industries.

Your Local Treasure Valley SCORE Chapter

Here in the Treasure Valley, our chapter is a group of volunteers who provide free counseling to small businesses and entrepreneurs. We have been serving the Treasure Valley since the 1970s.

SCORE also provides local workshops and events throughout the country to connect small business owners with the people and information they need to start, grow, and maintain their businesses, as well as online workshops available 24/7. SCORE provides resources, templates, and tools to assist entrepreneurs in developing tools and plans they need to navigate their way to small business success.

Get Help for Your Business

Treasure Valley SCORE can help your business in several different ways:


Get one-on-one free mentoring with one of our qualified volunteers! To be placed in contact with one of our mentors in the Treasure Valley area, click on "Get Paired with a Mentor," and complete the information on the next page. You'll be given the option to select a date/time that fits with your schedule, and you'll be given the option to select your mentor. If you are not sure which mentor you would prefer, you may choose any mentor on the list. If your mentor of choice is unavailable, please select another available mentor.

Learn from the experts with SCORE’s small business training workshops. You can find instructor-led training offered in a SCORE office or online. You can also find interactive courses to help you learn new business strategies. Many of our workshops are free or are offered at a low cost to the attendee. To help you through all stages of business, Treasure Valley SCORE offers beginner and advanced classes in many skill sets.
