I can help SCORE clients with business planning and tracking, marketing, product development, product life cycle management, and commercialization. I have practiced those disciplines primarily in the regulated medical device industry. I also have experience as an entrepreneur in a start-up retail hardware business, which enables me to provide guidance to prospective retailers or franchisees.

One of the ways I help startups in either the business or nonprofit sector is to have an open dialog with the SCORE client that seeks to align a person's education, skills, work experiences, and life's lessons with the objectives of the new business or organization. The goal of the dialog is to realize how to tie together the client's personal strengths and abilities, and the objectives of the new business or nonprofit, so that they compliment each other.

I partnered with SCORE when I worked in Microfinance in New York City and have admired the mission over the years. Working with small business owners, I am familiar with their challenges and would like to contribute to their growth, particularly post-pandemic. I am a bilingual Spanish speaker and would like to extend my experience and knowledge to support the business community.

I enjoy assisting entrepreneurs and small business owners overcome challenges and obstacles they face when they think about starting a business, the initial stages of their business and/or growing their business. I have experienced first-hand the good work that SCORE mentors do to enhance the mentees' business knowledge and overall potential.

I like to help businesses of all types grow and have had success doing so. I have worked in large corporations, small entrepreneurial settings and mid-sized businesses. I've coached and lead project teams and marketing departments. I've facilitated speakers for TED Talks, taught sales people and collaborated with executives on strategy and product launches. After a couple of decades of market-focused responsibilities, I'm optimistic I can help small businesses think creatively about business challenges and organizational objectives.
