I am a retired Manufacturing CEO / President with over 45 years of industry experience in metals, plastics and chemicals.

After twenty five years of successful career in Management Consulting working for companies like E&Y, Accenture, IBM, I took a break and became a small business owner about 5 years back. Last year I wrapped up my small business and am now focused on mentoring and coaching small businesses and individual senior executives. My work involves helping non profits succeed using my experience as a CFO (which also includes Operations, HR and IT)

One of the ways I help startups in either the business or nonprofit sector is to have an open dialog with the SCORE client that seeks to align a person's education, skills, work experiences, and life's lessons with the objectives of the new business or organization. The goal of the dialog is to realize how to tie together the client's personal strengths and abilities, and the objectives of the new business or nonprofit, so that they compliment each other.

Business Startups

After 30+ years of building and running businesses and organizations, I want to help others achieve their professional dreams of building a successful business. I have a law degree and practiced law full-time for several years but I started spending most of my professional time building and operating a law firm. While doing so I also developed significant experience in strategy development/implementation and crisis management. Prior to joining the law firm, I had experience in a national educational company where I oversaw areas including field operations and marketing.

I have 36 years of experience in supply chain. The last 27 years were with two start-up companies and a global computer company. I held different positions with some time in management. I have been retired for a bit over two years and I want to give back. Covid kept me from volunteering but I think I am ready to step up and contribute where I can.

Assisted and helped small business owners with some of their business issues and challenges such as operations and financials. Provided guidance preparing business plans and financial statements. Taught and presented Microsoft Excel and Bookkeeping workshops.
Prepared compensation analysis and market valuations for local and field employees for a recruiting company; researched and analyzed variable pay programs and prepared compensation metrics.

I would like to help aspiring entrepreneurs in realizing, establishing, and pursuing their mission, vision, and goals through Coaching, facilitating peer discussions, and training.

I've been a member before, back when your office was on 281. I then moved to Hawaii where I was a member of the SCORE team there. I've since moved back and wanted to see if there's a need for another member
