My background is in healthcare management with specific expertise in strategic planning, business development and corporate real estate. My experience as a small business owner and employee give me a broad and understanding perspective for small to medium size businesses. My career started off in agriculture as a producer. This led to a lengthy career in the trucking industry as a manager and owner. Following the trucking business, I owned a small convenience store with gas. Again, I operated it as the owner/manager. I rounded out my career as an advisor for the Small Business Development Center in Victoria, Texas, helping over 800 diverse clients and businesses.
