Success Story
The Veterans Law Office of Jared Levinson, P.C.
After establishing his brand for the core competency of VA claims, Levinson identified an opportunity to vertically integrate his practice while maintaining his focus on serving veterans and their families. He found that issues affecting the general population regarding consumer problems, bankruptcy, business planning and other areas of legal practice affect veterans, perhaps in exaggerated numbers. He tweaked his practice offerings to include a general law practice for veterans beyond VA claims and is now pursuing clients in the expanded practice. When asked about his level of satisfaction

License Requirements

City/County/State Licensing Requirements

This handout is a condensation/abbreviation of the requirements.

Legal Structure

There are many reasons for owners of small businesses to examine the available forms of business organization. The changing tax laws, the limitation of personal liability for business debts and obligations, and fluctuating availability of capital are the three main reasons owners should review what legal structures best meet their needs. Your choice of business form will affect your exposure to personal liability, how you draw profits and pay taxes, your ability to raise capital, and how you run your business.
