My area of expertise has been devising pricing strategies and conducting thorough market analysis to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability. I also have expertise in strategic planning, financial modeling, budgeting, revenue growth, and marketing analytics. I have provided guidance and advice in multiple industries including financial services, manufacturing, environmental, and engineering services. I also helped acquire, operate, and sell a healthcare practice.
I'm eager to help SCORE clients by assisting and encouraging their growth to overcome obstacles. With 20 years of real world, day to day, experience of owning and operating an independent business I have the awareness and the knowledge to help support, grow and guide other business owners. Starting as a small showroom and, 20 years later, growing to a top destination design center for industry professionals I have the track record and credentials to help mentor others. I’m looking to share my time and help guide others through the process to success.

My experience as a small business owner and employee give me a broad and understanding perspective for small to medium size businesses. My career started off in agriculture as a producer. This led to a lengthy career in the trucking industry as a manager and owner. Following the trucking business, I owned a small convenience store with gas. Again, I operated it as the owner/manager. I rounded out my career as an advisor for the Small Business Development Center in Victoria, Texas, helping over 800 diverse clients and businesses.
As a SCORE volunteer, I can provide small business owners and entrepreneurs guidance on financial management, banking services, and developing effective business strategies. With years of experience in client relations, business development, and financial services, I understand the challenges small businesses face and can offer insights to help them thrive.
I can help mentor clients in creating business plans and processes to create powerful client and employee experiences which enable the realization of both business and personal goals.
