Having made a lot of good decisions and a few bad ones over a long business career, I want to help folks start and grow successful companies. I hope to guide people towards what will work and away from what may not. My thirty years of running a small business that I started from scratch and eventually sold have given me a lot of experience that I would like to pass on.
I have worked in accounting since 2005 and own and manage a Certified Public Accounting firm serving clients across the United States. I work heavily with small business owners, but have also worked in private accounting for an Inc.

As a manager/owner of a small business one must wear a number of different hats. Even though the business is small it will require the same attention to finances, marketing, personnel, etc. as a large company. With my experience as a CPA and small business owner I understand these needs and can help SCORE clients address these various areas and assist in setting priorities and instituting best practices from the beginning.
