The best way I can help Score Clients is by sharing the wealth of information that I have gathered over the years of running a successful ophthalmology practice. The same information has helped me to start and maintain my own businesses. For 15yrs as a part-time job, I worked at Silver Hill Hospital conducting intakes on psychiatric patients seeking admission into the hospital. This job has shaped the way I interact with Clients and has caused me to be a better listener with a broader understanding.

I can help clients with business planning, product/services and go-to-market ideation, marketing & brand strategy, and building a successful team, with an understanding of finance and operations management. Have over 30 years of consulting, sales, and leadership experience at Apple with technology, channel distribution, education, and consumer spaces - including experience with the challenges of a start-up. Our local SCORE chapter, and our national network, provide access to subject matter experience in specific areas of business.

After 30+ years of building and running businesses and organizations, I want to help others achieve their professional dreams of building a successful business. I have a law degree and practiced law full-time for several years but I started spending most of my professional time building and operating a law firm. While doing so I also developed significant experience in strategy development/implementation and crisis management. Prior to joining the law firm, I had experience in a national educational company where I oversaw areas including field operations and marketing.

I've been a member before, back when your office was on 281. I then moved to Hawaii where I was a member of the SCORE team there. I've since moved back and wanted to see if there's a need for another member

I can help your business build effective, management, sales, marketing and product development strategies. As your business grows, I can also help with streamlining internal operations, finding and hiring the right employees, and maximizing profitability. In relation to product development, I have extensive experience with offshore sourcing, specifically from China.

My name is Rick Hazan, and I have a diverse background in sales, building sales teams, startups, and operations that can be valuable to any company. I have a deep knowledge of the travel industry.

I partnered with SCORE when I worked in Microfinance in New York City and have admired the mission over the years. Working with small business owners, I am familiar with their challenges and would like to contribute to their growth, particularly post-pandemic. I am a bilingual Spanish speaker and would like to extend my experience and knowledge to support the business community.

I recently sold my business and retired after a long career working with sales staff and management to increase their effectiveness. I've bought businesses, bought commercial real estate, formed the entities, arranged bank and SBA financing and ultimately prepared the business for sale and found a buyer and completed due diligence for a private equity buyer.

I like to help businesses of all types grow and have had success doing so. I have worked in large corporations, small entrepreneurial settings and mid-sized businesses. I've coached and lead project teams and marketing departments. I've facilitated speakers for TED Talks, taught sales people and collaborated with executives on strategy and product launches. After a couple of decades of market-focused responsibilities, I'm optimistic I can help small businesses think creatively about business challenges and organizational objectives.
