With more than 40 years business experience, 20 in Project Management, and 10 in Marketing and Branding, I'm excited to assist other entrepreneurs launch a successful business.

25 years of experience in hospitality and live music venue start-ups across the U.S. and S.E. Asia. Have mentored ex-staffers in the areas of capital sourcing, business plans, company structure, branding, marketing, operations, public relations and hiring practices, many of whom have gone on to become industry leaders.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Valor Strategic Solutions, a Veteran-owned, small business consulting firm, I leverage my entrepreneurial skills, military experience, and passion for social change to empower small businesses to overcome challenges and achieve sustainable success. With over three years of experience as a professional photographer, I have a unique perspective on how to craft compelling stories, and engage audiences.

I spent 6 years working as a venture capitalist at Adams Street Partners where I was focused on funding early-stage startups. After that I spent 4 years starting, operating, and selling my own business (stayoffmap.com). I'm excited to help anyone with questions about business plans, fundraising, product development, digital marketing, or any other areas of the startup process!

Throughout my career, I have worked to transform dreams into functioning businesses. I hope to help SCORE clients make their dreams come alive. While some adjustments may be needed, I have found that nearly every dream can be transformed into a viable enterprise.

As a life long entrepreneur, I've not only started many new businesses and launched new products, but I have helped dozens of people write business plans and/or determine the viability of a new business/product.
