I am an experienced entrepreneur with over 24 years experience to operate and grow a small manufacturing business to over $15 million in revenues, which includes both organic growth and by acquisition. Prior to this I have over 20 years of experience in a wide range of functions including general management, marketing, sales and financial at a large multi-national manufacturing business.

I can help you start, grow and improve the financial performance of your business. I am an experienced financial manager and CPA, with a specialty in Agriculture. I have been mentoring small business owners and farmers for 15 years. I particularly enjoy assisting in-business clients with evaluating various lines of business or enterprises as a way to improve profitability.

Retired as Global Purchasing Manager,from automotive product manufacturing company after 15 years.

I attended the University of Virginia, graduating with a BS in Engineering. I earned an MS in Engineering from the George Washington University and an MBA at the George Mason University. I have managed a variety of systems engineering and business planning activities throughout my career, which began as a government employee with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration at the Goddard Space Flight Center. Seven years later, I joined AT T Bell Labs where I continued to work on the space program supporting NASA’s manned lunar landing efforts.

My Experience:

General management of an administrative services organization (payroll, human resources, strategic planning, purchasing, information technology, warehousing, etc). Extensive experiences in human resources in both the industrial, education and non-profit sectors.

I have an MBA with concentration in Marketing and Finance from the Johnson School at Cornell University. I was a commercial loan officer dealing primarily with middle market companies and recently retired as Deputy Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer at the Wayne County Industrial Development Agency where I was responsible for managing the Agency’s revolving loan funds and provide technical assistance to start-up and expanding existing companies as well as structuring tax and other economic incentives to attract and retain businesses.

I have started and managed a few IT Services businesses over the last 35 plus years. Knowledge in management, sales and operations of small businesses. Former President of SCORE Lancaster and District President of SCORE District 303. Member of the Board of Directors of SCORE Association and SCORE Foundation 2011-2015. Chairman of the Board of the SCORE Association and Foundation 2012-2015.
