Over 40 years of experience in Technology based companies. Two years doing basic research in ultrasonic acoustic devices and 2 years designing and testing antenna systems. 37 years working at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies covering a broad range of assignments and experience, ,Including: manufacturing engineering support, manufacturing management, R D project management, product marketing and product sales development and support and new business development. During most of this time I managed individual contributors numbering from 5 or 6 to over 200. In many cases employees were distributed and often international. I have extensive experience in managing groups thorough changing work environments and restructuring, building teams and entering new business areas. Throughout a major portion of my career I was involved in developing annual plans and forecasts, building expense plans, creating longer term strategic plans and new business and product plans. I was accountable to monitor plans and insure objectives were met or contingency plans put in place. While working at Hewlett Packard/Agilent I was an internal facilitator for FranklinCovey and taught courses in several of our sites around the world. . I also taught at several universities outside of my work assignments, with a focus on International Business and Marketing, Marking Principles and Marketing Strategy.
