I was raised in a "small-business household" and worked in the family construction business through college. After my engineering degrees, I joined a large multi-national technology company to learn their best practices and worked in the evenings and weekends to get my MBA. I applied those experiences at a small start-up company where everyone had to wear multiple hats and where I learned about the importance of profitability and cash flow management. As we grew to a mid-sized company, we had to figure out how to enter new markets, develop new lines of products, and grow in new geographic areas - and sometimes used M&A when organic growth was too slow or too expensive. I believe I am a good listener and a creative problem solver - I'd like to combine these personal traits with my business experience to help your business succeed.
