This workshop is designed for individuals and organizations considering podcasting as a tool for communication, marketing, or education. The session provides a practical, end-to-end introduction to podcast creation, with a focus on translating an initial concept into a recorded and publishable first episode. We'll give attention to both creative and technical fundamentals and considerations.

You will be guided by an experienced podcast producer and certified audio engineer who has produced, recorded, mixed, and published numerous podcast episodes for organizations.

The session is structured as an interactive, hands-on experience. Participants will be guided through key decisions related to podcast format, equipment setup, recording practices, and audio quality. A mobile podcast studio will be used to demonstrate recording workflows in real time, followed by an overview of post-production, editing, and publishing using audio editing software.
