I bring a diverse background in entrepreneurship, education, consulting, and military service to my role as a SCORE mentor. While transitioning from full-time military service to the reserves, I started and operated a retail art, portrait, and custom framing business. During that time, I completed an MBA with an emphasis in industrial training and also worked as an outside sales representative in the wine industry.
In the years that followed, I owned and co-owned an educational consulting company while building a thirty-three-year career as a business educator. I have helped several generations of students start and operate their own businesses. In my final decade in education, I trained Student Teachers for the University of La Verne and continued my work in educational consulting.
I am committed to helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful, sustainable businesses.
