I focus exclusively on mentoring professional service firms—such as CPAs, attorneys, coaches, physicians, and wellness practices rather than retail or product-based offerings, providing planning, marketing, California employee HR, succession guidance, and applied AI and LLM integration.
On a personal level, I like to work with ambitious over-achievers who know what they want but need help getting it. I see my role as part mentor and part cheerleader, and the best way for a client to receive both is to display as much effort and fortitude as I will. For every hour we work together, expect homework that must be completed before our next session. Another requirement is that if you choose to work with me, you agree that I will become your Lead Mentor, knowing I co-mentor when I need subject matter expertise (SME) or when training new mentors. I anticipate meeting with you weekly at first, followed by bi-weekly, monthly, and then quarterly over the years. I consider every client I accept as Lead Mentor to become a major investment of my time.

I work with Start-ups trying to decide on the basics such as business type or structure (profit vs non-profit or LLC vs.sole proprietor); Business Plans (long form templates only, not one pager "Business Model Canvas" plans), financial strategies, and marketing or sales strategies (no-cost, personal networking outreach, social media, blogging, etc.). I work with established companies, particularly in succession planning and preparing for the transitioning of family-owned businesses or businesses being sold to long-term employees. Finally, I've always enjoyed working with LBGTQ+ and ADHD clients.
