I have 40 years of experience in accounting and finance. I started my career with Plante Moran, CPAs in Michigan then moved to San Diego and worked for Deloitte Touche CPAs (then Haskins Sells). I then spent 15 years working for real estate developers in the San Diego area as their Controller/Vice President Finance/Chief Financial Officer. In 1995 I purchased a CPA practice and spent 15 years operating the practice which consisted of about 300 clients. I conducted audits, reviews, compilations and prepared income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, non profits, and estates. I sold the practice in December 2010 and retired. With SCORE I have helped individuals who want to start a Non Profit Corporation and other types of businesses..
