I have been in the hospitality field for over 40 years. I began with Hilton Hotels and was the Director of Sales for The Hilton Hawaiian Village which was the 3rd largest hotel in the World at that time. In 1982, I moved back to California and was the opening Director of Marketing for The Hotel InterContinental San Diego...today it is the large Marriott adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center. In 1985, I bought Enjoy California, a renown destination mangement company (DMC) in San Diego creating special events for in-coming corporate meetings and incentives, I was elected in 2003 to be the President of ADME which was the umbrella organization for our industry. It has been my pleasure to counsel small business owners and wannabees for 15 years.
