U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provides financial, technical and management assistance to help Americans start, run and grow their businesses. SCORE is a resource partner with the SBA. The SBA administers a Congressional grant which provides SCORE with funding. SCORE volunteers work with the SBA to provide small business mentoring and training to entrepreneurs through SBA offices.

SBDC Rhode Island
We provide RI small business owners with the services and expertise they need to succeed: no cost expert counseling, relevant training, and access to important resources. We support you and your business at every stage, from start-up through maturity.

Center for Women & Enterprise
The Center for Women & Enterprise is a nationally known nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people start and grow their businesses. CWE has worked with more than 46,000 Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont entrepreneurs since 1995. CWE also operates the Veterans Business Outreach Center of New England (VBOC of NE) that focuses on assisting veterans, active duty service members and their families with starting and growing their business.

Rhode Island Commerce
The Rhode Island Commerce Corporation works with public, private, and nonprofit partners to create the conditions for businesses in all sectors to thrive and to improve the quality of life for our citizens by promoting the state’s long-term economic health and prosperity. We offer business assistance, access to funding and red tape reduction for companies of all sizes. As a quasi-public agency, we are the official full-service, economic development organization for the state of Rhode Island.
