American Association of Franchisees and Dealers (AAFD)
The AAFD is a national nonprofit trade association representing the rights and interests of franchisees and independent dealers throughout the United States. AAFD’s Web site lists accredited franchisors and has a section on buying a franchise.

Franchise Gator
Franchise Gator, a franchise web resource, links people with franchise opportunities through franchise and business for sale listings and an eNewsletter with the latest franchising news.
The Franchise Handbook is a quarterly publication offering franchise opportunities.
