And they want to trust that you’re a reputable company, so the more links and connections you have from other reputable companies, the more it builds your credibility. Relevance and credibility will really improve your rankings.
Finally, you should list your business on Google Places. This is really important for most small businesses because it’s locally focused. Google uses the actual, physical location of the person searching to bring up results for businesses in that area. Getting listed in Google Places is free, but you need to claim it and populate it with information like hours of operation, credit cards you accept, and pictures. If your profile is complete, your listing has a better chance of showing up more prominently.
