I am from the Northwestern Suburb of Chicago called Algonquin. I am a single father of one son, oldest brother of 5 siblings, and currently own and operate Batteries Plus Bulbs in the Quad Cities and outlying areas. In 1998, I relocated to Iowa via Clinton to attend Mount St Clare for my final 2 years of college. Upon graduating with a Business Degree in Finance with an Accounting minor, I moved to Davenport and began my first career in Real Estate (after a quick attempt at the 9-5 thing). I have worked for myself ever since. I have maintained a Real Estate license since 2002, closed over 500 transactions, and bought and sold 100’s of properties for myself and investor clients. My career in Real Estate introduced me to construction, real-life finance, accounting, banking, negotiations, contact law, human emotions, and of course sales. In 2012, I had the opportunity to venture outside of Real Estate into the Retail Franchise of Batteries Plus Bulbs at which time we purchased 2 existing locations. From there we have personally opened, bought, moved, rebranded, remodeled, and unfortunately, closed locations. These experiences are how I have fully learned the day to day of business operations along with the easy and difficult decisions that need to be made. Daily I deal with inventory control, productivity, efficiency, theft, market conditions, compensation plans, marketing, profitability, and cash-flow. Today I work daily in the Batterie Plus Bulbs business and maintain a property management company that oversees the investments of my clients and myself. I enjoy talking business and always love sharing and comparing ideas.
