JAMES M. CHAMBERLAIN MANAGEMENT COUNSELOR BIOGRAPHY SCORE, ORANGE COUNTY Jim has an MBA and BBA (Accounting) from St. Bonaventure University and is a CMA (Certified Management Accountant). Jim has held financial positions with the Dexter Corporation’s manufacturing semiconductor (Hysol) and defense divisions; General Dynamics, in their electronic component manufacturing subsidiary; Statek Corporation, a manufacturer of electronic components, and an environmental start-up called FRS Management Corporation. His last 10 years as part owner, director, and CFO have been with Consolidated Reprographics, an Orange County leading reprographics company. He has held management positions from Cost Accountant to CFO and President. Jim helped manage a privately held high technology company awarded as one of the top 50 fastest growing private companies in Orange County. During his career, Jim has had extensive experience in M A activity as a buyer and seller. Jim has been active in various volunteer organizations in addition to SCORE including: Past President and Director of a local IMA Chapter; former board member and budget director of the United Way; former board member of the Orange County Financial Society; and current member of the Institute of Management Accountants. He is also a past president and director of the Certified Management Accounting Society of Southern California (CMASSC). Jim is a presenter of various financial workshops including Financial Measurement Tools, Business Valuations, Understanding Financial Statements, Business Plans, and Start-up Capital Financing. Additionally, Jim counsels small business owners on financial issues.
