Zillajee, Anandita Yadav
I’m Anandita, the founder of Zillajee. Growing up in India, I remember wearing cotton clothes all the time. I love cotton fabric as it can be worn throughout the year and is very durable. It is also easy to care for, making it a practical choice for everyday use.
When I moved to the US, I found it hard to find good quality cotton clothing. I was surprised to find that even clothing marketed as cotton would often contain only a percentage of cotton blended with other sometimes synthetic fabrics. As a cotton lover, I was really disappointed by the limited options available for affordable, sustainable 100% cotton sleepwear and casual wear. I was also concerned about the environmental impact and labor practices associated with traditional textile production.
Determined to make a positive difference, I embarked on a mission to create a brand that offers ethically produced organic cotton sleepwear, and hence ‘Zillajee’ was born.
‘Zillajee’ is a sustainable sleepwear brand for the modern woman. Our pajama pants are made from 100% organic cotton using natural dyes.
Our production process prioritizes the use of organic cotton, which is grown without harmful chemicals or pesticides, ensuring a safer and healthier option for both the consumers and the planet. We are dedicated to transparency, fair labor practices, and promoting sustainability in the fashion industry.

I was confident about my product because I had done extensive research before launching it. However, I wasn’t seeing the kind of traction I had expected and felt that I needed to reach out to someone who had navigated similar challenges and come out successful. I realized that a mentor could provide a fresh perspective and help me align my business goals.
Chloe comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience of working on not just her own business but providing guidance to so many other small businesses. She has helped me prioritize what’s important at the current stage of my business and align my goals accordingly. She has also shared valuable insights and given me a fresh perspective on how I can develop a roadmap for my business.
I would say have a clear business plan. Study the numbers and make sure that the business is economically feasible. Do an in-depth study of the market, the competition, and the price point feasibility before launching your business. Also, don’t wait to build the perfect product. Build a MVP, get it out there, get some feedback, learn and adapt.
Most importantly if you feel like your business is stuck and could use some guidance or help, then find a mentor on score.org
I would say find a mentor if you need guidance on how to take your business to the next level. For a lot of the problems that you encounter during your business journey, there are other entrepreneurs who have gone through that same journey and come out successful. There are so many people out there who are willing to share this wisdom with you. You just have to reach out and ask for their guidance.
I found my mentor on score.org and she has been such a blessing for my business. She has helped me identify new opportunities and really simplify my marketing model. Also, don’t forget to give it back when you are on the other side.
I was able to increase my revenue and identify new opportunities after partnering with my mentor Chloe.
I can assist you with marketing, social media marketing, product research and development, business...
