SCORE played a pivotal role in my business journey back in 2003, and I continue to see its immense value—not just for startups, but also for established businesses seeking fresh strategies or overcoming challenges.

Before launching my own business, I spent 20 years in the restaurant industry in the back of the house, the last 8 as an Executive Chef running restaurants (1983-2003) and an additional 20+ years working in hospitality consulting. I can help small lodging and restaurant businesses grow their marketing, streamline their operations, enhance their customer service and boost revenue. This includes assisting with food costing, menu design and menu development. This experience has been extremely helpful in assisting businesses in any industry. I am a published author of three business books; one for restaurant planning, one on hospitality marketing and one on business location planning.

Today, I specialize in teaching digital marketing (NOT e-commerce) and social media strategies tailored to all businesses, with a focus on practical, measurable results, including teaching clients to use AI to help their business, as well as streamlining and optimizing business organization and operations. I have experience as a keynote and educational speaker at conferences and association events nationwide, sharing expertise in marketing and hospitality operations. I also am a volunteer and board member of several non-profits and love volunteering for SCORE.
