Is your business stuck in neutral, not going forward but, thankfully, not going backward either? Do you think you are positioned for growth but can't quite figure out how to get there? Are you working harder at your business but still not 'making the numbers' that you'd expected to make by this many years into your business?
If any of these situations belong to you as a business owner/business manager, the Northshore chapter of SCORE (www.scorens.org) has recently launched a new program to help existing businesses assess where they are and what they need to do to move their business forward.
SCORE is a national non-profit organization (www.score.org), focused on providing the mentoring, tools, and training that owners of existing businesses can used to help them analyze their business operations, build their management skills, enhance their technological skills, and develop strategies for business success.
SCORE also focuses on assisting those interested in going into business understand the fundamentals of what it takes to start and run a successful business. SCORE has been in existence since 1964 and has over 13,000 volunteers nationwide. Northshore SCORE has been a chapter since 2009 and has 17 volunteers who provide free and confidential business advice.
