Palo Alto Software Donates Business Plan Pro to SCORE
Alliance brings free business tools to entrepreneurs nationwide
Washington, D.C.—SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business” receives free copies of Business Plan Pro for each of SCORE’s nearly 400 offices nationwide through an alliance with Palo Alto Software. This alliance provides valuable software and planning tools for SCORE counselors and clients.
Business Plan Pro is one of the leading business planning applications available to small business and home-based entrepreneurs. Last year, SCORE chapters installed the software on their office computers, and the newest version is now available. Palo Alto Software also is offering live seminars online for SCORE counselors to learn more about the software, as well as educational information on business planning.
SCORE CEO Ken Yancey says, “SCORE is pleased to continue this alliance with Palo Alto Software, which offers leading business planning software to small business and home office entrepreneurs.” Yancey adds, “This alliance makes Business Plan Pro available to all SCORE chapters nationwide. Chapters can install the software on an office computer to use during counseling sessions, or as a resource for SCORE clients to use while they’re at the chapter.”
Palo Alto Software President and CEO Tim Berry says, “The past year of this alliance with SCORE has been a good one, knowing that all of SCORE’s chapters have been able to provide Business Plan Pro to benefit their clients.” Berry adds, “At Palo Alto Software, we know what great things can be accomplished once a small business has a working business plan to guide its decisions. We are happy to donate these tools to SCORE, which has access to so many of the people our software is designed specifically to help.”
Since 1964, SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business” has assisted more than 7.2 million aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners through counseling and business workshops. More than 10,500 volunteer business counselors in 389 chapters serve their communities through entrepreneurial education dedicated to the formation, growth and success of small businesses.
