Gerald R. Jensen Begins Three-Year Term on SCORE Board of DirectorsJensen Boasts Extensive Management & Technology Background
Washington, D.C.—Gerald Jensen of Los Altos, Calif., joins the SCORE Board of Directors. The SCORE Association "Counselors to America's Small Business" provides small business mentoring, as well as workshops and seminars, to more than 350,000 aspiring and existing small business owners. Jensen’s term begins on October 1.
Jensen joined the San Jose chapter of SCORE in 1995 and remains a dedicated SCORE counselor. Jensen serves on the SCORE Advisory Council through September 2004. He has held the positions of both district director and chapter chair in San Francisco and is a member of technology advisory committees. Currently, Jensen serves as the program manager of the Entrepreneurial Development Management Information System (EDMIS), which processes valuable information on SCORE services and outreach.

Jensen’s business experience spans over 45 years in the computer field. He began his career while serving in the United States Air Force as a computer programmer and systems analyst. He has held the titles of Central Region Systems Manager for RCA Computer Systems, Marketing Manager for RCA Instructional Systems, Vice President of Pacific International Computing Corp., MIS Manager for the Bechtel Group of companies and COO of Techpoint. Jensen also has been a consultant and small business owner.
