Diane Sisson Re-elected as SCORE Association, SCORE Foundation Officer
Washington, D.C.—Diane Sisson, of Daphne, Ala., has been re-elected treasurer of the SCORE Association and secretary of The SCORE Foundation. Sisson brings extensive experience as an advocate for small business to the boards. She began her terms on October 1, 2003.
Sisson is president of Sisson and Associates, a management consulting firm that specializes in government contract and grant development. She has also held the positions of director of the Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Program; principal assistant responsible for contracting for the Army Corps of Engineers; and procurement analyst for the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Sisson is a Fellow in the National Contract Management Association. She has also drawn attention to the important part small businesses play in supporting America’s armed forces, and was awarded the Meritorious Civilian Service Medal for those efforts. Sisson was honored in 2000 by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the U.S. Women in Business Advocate of the Year. The U.S. government has consulted her on how to enhance the economic development of small business.
