Broward SCORE hosts several workshops on the financial needs of businesses. The workshops subjects are:
- Sourcing Capital for Your Business
- Making Money Work In Your Business
- Building a Budget for Your Business – Do It Yourself
- Using QuickBooks to Help You Manage & Control Your Business
- Do-It-Yourself Taxes for The Small Business
- Understand and Improve Your Credit Score

The workshops are held from 5PM to 8 PM on weekday evenings. They are educational and interactive. The goal of the workshops is to educate attendees on sourcing capital for and using money in a business. They are led by professionals with backgrounds in finance who volunteer their time & talent to SCORE. Included are Paul Bosley of First Financial, Carla Dorsey of the Dorsey Group, Jake Adams of South Florida Remote Accounting, John Poropat of Poropat, LLC., and Elizabeth Karwowski of Get Credit Healthy, Inc.
