Hart Physical Therapy, Mary Hart
Hart worked with SCORE mentor Jim Dallet who encouraged her to start thinking and acting like a business professional in every sense. They have been working together since November 2015. SCORE helps Hart go over profit and loss statements every month to assess the state of her organization's finances. Through SCORE Hart has been able to connect with other professionals including a CPA, Quickbooks expert, and a web designer.

Mary Hart owns and operates a private outpatient clinic for physical therapy patients called, not surprisingly, Hart Physical Therapy.
When she first contacted SCORE, Hart had no employees and limited knowledge about how to run her own own business. She was a very experienced physical therapist with years of successful treatment to her name, so she wasn't starting entirely from scratch! From a business perspective though, she had to learn about marketing skills and positioning herself to make a real profit.
