Prerequisite Part 1. Turn your Business Model Canvas into a streamlined plan for starting up your business.
About the Event:
A well thought out business plan not only increases the chances of a business’s success, but it is also often a requirement for securing funding from an outside source. Yet, for many, this task can be intimidating and time consuming and they never get past this step. It doesn’t have to be this way.
This workshop is the second of a two-part event that will walk you through the process of turning your business concept into a business plan. In the prerequisite Part 1 workshop, you created your own business plan outline using the Business Model Canvas (BMC). In Part 2 you will learn how to convert your BMC into a Lean Business Plan that includes a simple Breakeven Analysis and 12 Month Profit and Loss Projection.
This workshop will include:
1st 1-1/2 Hour: An explanation of the steps of the Lean Business Plan and why it’s becoming increasing the planning method of choice.
2nd 1-1/2 Hour: Individual coaching by assistants to help attendees start creating their own Lean Business Plan.
Bonus: Assistants will schedule individual follow-on mentoring sessions with attendees to help them complete their Lean Business Plan.
Ron is the immediate past Chairman and current Vice Chairman of the SCORE Naples Chapter. He is passionate about assisting startups and growing businesses. Ron has over 30 years of experience as a broker, senior executive and successful entrepreneur in the maritime and commodity futures & options markets. Based in South Africa and Singapore, he enjoyed focusing on growing companies both internally and externally.
Ron has degrees in Business, Economics and Maritime Studies. He served as an Adjunct Professor, for over 10 years, in both the Schools of Business and Economics at Singapore
