Essentials of Starting a Business

If you have ever thought about starting your own business, we have a multi-part classroom series in Ocala that will guide you through all of the key elements of turning that dream into a reality. Also consider this series if you already have a business that could use a boost.

This series is designed for aspiring and emerging business owners. The presenters are all SCORE volunteers with decades of business experience in the topics they teach. Our goal is to provide you with the background you need to get started on the path to success. The Essentials of Starting a Business Curriculum, described here, is composed of 4 sections spread over 9 classroom workshops.

  • ESB1 - Creating a Quick Business Plan
  • ESB2 - Successfully Starting a Business
  • ESB3 - Successfully Marketing Your Business
  • ESB4 - Managing Finances for a New Business

These workshops are sponsored by the Hispanic Business Council as part of their "It’s All About Business" program. The registration link will take you to the HBC registration page. You can register even if you are not a member of the HBC.

The registration fee of $30 covers both parts of the 2-part ESB4 workshop on the dates shown above.  Please arrive at 5:30 for networking and light refreshments. The workshop itself will begin shortly afterwards and lasts one hour.
