About SCORE Metro NJ

SCORE Metro NJ and our volunteer business mentors are dedicated to providing the best possible service. Face-to-face or online, our mentors are able and willing to aid in the success of small businesses.

Find a Mentor Take a Workshop

We serve entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses in the Metro NJ area. Our mentors are made up of retired and active professionals who provide free and confidential business counseling and a variety of low-cost workshops to boost your business success. SCORE Metro NJ mentors are real-world professionals with time-tested knowledge. 

Our mentors bring experience in dozens of industries, including restaurants, hospitality, manufacturing, internet, mobile devices, nonprofits, real estate, human resources, food and beauty products, and government contracting. Get all the help you need to launch or support an existing business, along with tools and local resources.

We provide:

  • Volunteer MENTORS who share their expertise across many industries
  • Free, confidential business mentoring in person, via email or by video
  • Free business TOOLS, templates, and tips here online
  • Inexpensive or free business WORKSHOPS (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)
