My 26 year career in sales continued to impress upon me regularly just how vital good, thoughtful  listening skills are.   I carry those skills plus a deep understanding of the various channels through which products or services can be presented or sold to the end consumer, which small business owners may be considering to expand their 'reach' or to enable their success without hiring a sales team.   Partnering with organizations within a business's network or with synergistic businesses (you scratch my back I'll send YOU  business too) can relieve many of the challenges of scale that business founders grapple with, and I look forward to leading SCORE clients in that discussion when applicable.  Of course, other Sales and Marketing topics can be discussed as well because regardless of the channel (direct or indirect through partners), sales tactics, pricing,  training, prospecting and closing all share the same ethic.
