My business experience includes twenty-one years as a Business Project Manager and Consultant to companies ranging in size from $5.0 to $170.0 million in sales. I restructured their business Organization, Project Estimating, Logistics, Purchasing, Budgeting, Credit / Collections, and Accounting.  I also installed several Quick Books systems.  In Human Resources I prepared Job Descriptions, reviewed and improved the companies' Insurance, Workers Compensation, and Safety Programs.

I have been a SCORE Mentor / Consultant for more than eight years. I am one of the top three Mentors in the Los Angeles Chapter for jobs created.  I also was named "Co-Mentor of the Year".  At SCORE I provide assistance to my clients in many areas of business.  They included; Start-Ups, Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Business and Financial Plans, Inventory Control,, and Human Resources. I am currently working with a long-term client as their Advisory Board Member.  

As the Senior Project Manager I started a $28 million computer peripheral Import and Distribution Company as a subsidiary of a major Japanese Trading Company.  As part of the start-up I implemented all the computer hardware and software systems, Accounting, Inventory Control, Credit, Sales, and Payroll systems. I established the Company Policies, Operating Procedures, and hired the initial staff.  After start up I was assigned as the VP - Operations and Customer Support. I improved support Sales to $6.0 million, with a 50% Net Profit Margin within four years.

I have also been the Vice President of Finance. as well as the Regional, Group, and Divisional Controller for major national food processing, distribution, manufacturing and construction companies.  I was responsible for all aspects of the companies' Financial Management - Management; Accounting, Payroll, Credit, Collections, Accounts Payable, Computer Management, and Budgeting.  However, in order to perform my functions effectively, it required me to become knowledgeable in manufacturing, logistics, quality control, sales, and marketing.

I am a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and have worked for two major U.S. Company's in their National and International Corporate staffs.
