Experience:
After graduating from University of Colorado in 1972, I was hired by a Milwaukee based chemical company selling improved environmentally friendly technologies and waste recovering systems to firms who electroplate, anodize and otherwise coat metals with decorative or protective finishes. I spent my first 15 years designing systems and providing chemistry to firms throughout the upper Midwest. Following that I served as sales and operations manager. I then purchased the company from the owners and expanded the business over the next 22 years, adding chemical products and equipment systems and expanding geographically. In 2019 I sold the firm and remain active in training, product development and sales support.

As a SCORE Mentor my job is to give you the tools, insight and encouragement to think through and plan all the details of your business as you go forward.

I like to interest students and young people in entrepreneurship. I also mentor small businesses and start-ups in Business Modeling, Management, Sales & Growth.
